STREUSEL

  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp (25 mL) butter or margarine, softened

MUFFINS

  • 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped walnuts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) grated orange rind
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) Ocean Spray® Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce

STREUSEL

  1. Combine streusel ingredients until crumbly, set aside.

MUFFINS

  1. For muffins, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nuts. Combine remaining ingredients, except sauce. Stir in dry mixture just until moistened.
  2. Spoon batter into greased large muffin tins. Top each with 1 Tbsp/15 mL sauce: sprinkle with streusel. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
