Honey Mustard Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp OLDE STYLE® Honey Mustard Sauce 30 mL
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice 30 mL
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil 15 mL
  • 1 tsp chopped fresh dill 5 mL
  • 1/2 tsp crushed garlic 2 mL
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 fillets (4 oz/125 g) fresh salmon, skin on
  • Garnish: fresh dill sprigs, lemon wedges

Preparation

  1. Mix together in small bowl, mustard sauce, lemon juice, oil, dill, garlic, salt and pepper. Place salmon pieces in shallow dish; pour over marinade. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes.
  2. Cook (BBQ Method): Place salmon fillets, skin side down, on heated grill; close lid. Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until it flakes easily with fork.
  3. Oven Method: Place salmon fillets, skin side down, on foil-lined baking pan. Bake in 350˚F (180˚C) oven 25 minutes.
  4. Cooking on Cedar Plank - Soak plank overnight in water, weighing down to keep submerged. Place marinated salmon skin
  5. side down in single layer on plank. Cook in closed barbecue as in BBQ Method (above). Serve on plank.
  6. Remove skin for serving, if desired. Garnish with dill and lemon.

This tangy sweet marinade is the perfect accent for salmon.
