White Chocolate Cranberry Squares

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 625 mL
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar 150 mL
  • 1 cup soft butter 250 mL
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup CHIPITS®* White Chocolate Chips 250 mL
  • 1 cup dried cranberries 250 mL
  • 1 pkg (200 g) sweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup CHIPITS®* Semi-Sweet or Premium Dark Chocolate Chips, optional 125 mL

Preparation

  1. Combine in food processor or large bowl, flour and sugar. Pulse or cut in butter to form fine crumbs. Press firmly into 13 x 9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.
  2. Bake in 350˚F (180˚C) oven about 12 minutes, until lightly browned.
  3. Mix together in large bowl, eggs and sweetened milk. Stir in white chocolate chips, cranberries, and coconut. Pour over crust; bake 18 to 22 minutes, until set in centre. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips; drizzle over top.

Makes about 48 squares.
Great for dessert trays, gift boxes and bake sales.
