Maple-glazed Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1½ lb. (675 g) skin-on salmon fillets
  • Marinade
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Irresistibles maple syrup*
  • ½ cup (125 mL) white wine or pure apple juice
  • 2 Irresistibles bay leaves*
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced very fine
  • Freshly ground white or pink pepper to taste
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients. Marinate salmon fillets, skin-side up, in the refrigerator for about two hours.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Remove and drain fillets. Bake until fish is opaque and can be easily flaked with a fork, about 8 minutes
