Blackberry Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 600 g (4 cups) frozen blackberries
  • 100 ml (7 tbsp) maple syrup
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) lime juice
  • 250 ml (1 cup) custard
  • 100 g (2/3 cup) seasonal berries (blueberries, raspberries, etc.)

Directions

  1. Arrange blackberries, maple syrup and lime juice in the food processor and grind. Add custard and continue to mix well.
  2. Pour preparation obtained in step 2 into a tray then add fresh berries to garnish and freeze for 15 minutes.
  3. Serve in fancy dessert cups or in chocolate cookie tulips. For a prettier presentation, arrange tulip on a plate decorated with a fresh fruit coulis and custard.
