Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) butter or margarine
- 2 cups (500 mL) sugar
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) HERSHEY'S Cocoa
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2/3 cup (150 mL) all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 mL) salt
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) baking soda
- 2 teaspoons (10 mL) vanilla extract
- 2 cups (500 mL) CHIPITS Semi Sweet Baking Chips
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Preparation
- Heat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 13x9-inch (33 x 23 cm) baking pan.
- Melt butter in medium saucepan over low heat. Add sugar and cocoa; stir to blend. Remove from heat.
- Stir in eggs. Stir together flour, salt and baking soda; stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in vanilla, CHIPITS chocolate chips and nuts.
- Spread into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan and begin to crack slightly; do not underbake. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
