Slow Cooker Pulled Beef Sandwiches

Ingredient

  • 3 lbs (1.5 kg) boneless chuck roast
  • 1 pouch Lipton Onion Recipe Soup Mix
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • ½ cup (125 mL) chili sauce
  • ¼ cup (50 mL brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 8 kaiser rolls or hamburger buns, toasted

Instructions

  1. In slow cooker, arrange roast. Combine soup mix with water, chili sauce and sugar; pour over roast. Cook covered on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or on high for 4 to 6 hours or until roast is tender.
  2. Remove roast, reserving juices. Let roast cool 10 minutes. Shred roast into bite-sized pieces, using a fork or your fingers. Return meat to reserved juices and heat through. Serve on toasted buns.
