Borgonzola Canapés

ingredient

  • 1 lb (500 g) softened butter
  • 1 1/3 lb (650 g) Canadian Borgonzola cheese, cut in small pieces
  • 1 cup (250 ml) chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup (50 ml lemon juice
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 baguettes, thinly sliced
  • Stuffed olives, cut in halves
  • Red bell peppers in oil, cut in thin strips

Preparation

  1. In food processor, or blender, beat butter and Canadian Borgonzola cheese, until smooth. Add parsley, pepper, lemon juice and gently mix.
  2. Spread baguette slices with cheese mixture. Season with freshly ground pepper. Garnish with half olives and red pepper julienne strips. Serve immediately.
