  • 2 cups SIROPRO maple syrup
  • 4 apples
  • Popsicle sticks

Method

  1. Pour the maple syrup into a large casserole.
  2. Watch closely as your bring syrup to a boil over medium-high heat. Let simmer until a drop of hot syrup forms into a soft ball when dropped into a glass of very cold water. It should not be very hard yet.
  3. To make the maple candy apples, let the syrup simmer until the drop in the water becomes candy hard. Insert a popsicle stick into the centre of each apple and roll in the maple syrup.
