Western-Style Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2lbs (1 kg) chicken wings
  • ½ cup (125 ml) ketchup
  • ½ cup (125 ml) chili sauce or salsa
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) honey
  • 1 tsp (5 ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp (2 ml) dry mustard powder
  • ¼ tsp (1 ml) cayenne pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped

Preparation

  1. Cut off wing tips and reserve for stock, if desired. Split wings in two at joint.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients to makes a sauce. Coat chicken wings in sauce, and arrange in single layer on large, foil-covered baking sheet.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 40 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink inside
