NESQUIK Ice Pops

Ingredients

  • 1 can (385 ml) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Fat Free or 2% Evaporated Mil
  • 1/3 cup NESTLÉ® NESQUIK® Chocolate or Strawberry syrup 75 ml

Preparation

  1. Stir together all ingredients; pour into plastic ice pop molds and put plastic sticks in place. Freeze 4 hours or until firm. Let stand at room temperature 15 to 20 minutes before serving.

Makes 8 servings.
With about as much calcium as 1/2 cup (125 ml) of milk in each serving, plus a big chocolate taste, these cool snacks are creamy, delicious and wholesome too.
Nestlé Kitchens Tip:You can substitute 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) milk for the evaporated milk.
Nutrients per serving (with Fat Free evaporated milk): about 74 Calories, 4.1 g Protein, trace Fat, 14 g Carbohydrates, 14 RDI% for Calcium.
Variation: Place eight, 3 oz paper cups in a 9 x 5-inch (2 L) loaf pan. Pour milk mixture into the paper cups and freeze for 1½ hours until partially frozen. Insert one popsicle stick into each cup and freeze for 4 hours or until firm. Let stand 5 minutes at room temperature before un-molding to serve.
