Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 lb (500g) lean pork loin, cut in 1/2 in/1 cm cubes
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) coarsely chopped red onion
  • 1 medium red or green pepper, cut in thin strips
  • 2 cups (500 mL) broccoli florets
  • 1 cup (250 mL) julienne cut carrots
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) Wong Wing Plum Sauce
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) L'Ambiance White Wine
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) crushed red pepper

Preparation

  1. In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork with garlic and onion 3 minutes. Add peppers, broccoli and carrots; cook, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
  2. Combine plum sauce, wine, cornstarch and crushed red pepper. Add to skillet and bring to boil. Season with salt to taste. Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired.
