Brazilian Coffee with Vanilla Ice Cream

Ingredient

  • 1 lemon quarters
  • In sufficient quantity granulated sugar
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) Cognac
  • 125 ml (½ cup) Grand Marnier or triple sec
  • 125 ml (½ cup) Bailey's Irish cream or Kaluha
  • 4 light espresso coffee, still warm
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • For garnish coffee beans

Preparation

  1. Rub glass rims with lemon quarters then dip in sugar. Divide cognac, Grand Marnier and Bailey's into 4 glasses.
  2. One glass at a time, flambé alcohol with a candle or a fondue burner. Then turn the glass and bend slightly over the flame. Add coffee. Top with one scoop of ice cream and coffee beans.
