Peach and berries crisp

Ingredient

  • 4 peaches, fresh and peeled
  • 237 ml (1 cup) fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries?)
  • 118 ml (1/2 cup) brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 45 ml (3 tbsp) all-purpose flour
  • 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) nutmeg
  • 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) ground ginger

Crust

  • 156 ml (2/3 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 156 ml (2/3 cup) oatmeal, plain and regular
  • 118 ml (1/2 cup) brown sugar
  • 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) nutmeg
  • 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) ground ginger
  • 118 ml (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature

Crust

  1. To make crust topping, combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and spices in a bowl. Add butter.
  2. Pour oatmeal preparation over fruit and press to even out texture. Bake on middle rack of oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.

Serves: 4-6
The preparation may be divided into individual ramequins to make 4 to 6 servings
