Red Grill Angus Beef Tournedos with Stir-fried Cherry Tomatoes, Red Pepper and Red Onion

ingredient

  • 1/2 red pepper, in strips
  • 1 small red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistibles olive oil*
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 Red Grill Angus barded beef tournedos
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) Irresistibles olive oil*

Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a skillet or wok over high heat. Stir-fry onions and red pepper, then cherry tomatoes. Season and keep warm.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Cook tournedos 3 - 4 minutes per side or to desired degree of doneness. Remove barding (fat). Serve immediately with stir-fried vegetables and a mesclun salad
